Clear Direct Physical Access to the Fixture If your kitchen sink, bathroom vanity, or laundry tub is the area of concern, please empty out cleaning supplies, buckets, and toiletries from the cabinet beneath. Having full, unobstructed access to the pipes allows our team to begin inspecting right away without risking damage to your personal belongings.

2. Ensure Clear Access to Main Cleanouts and Water Shutoffs Even if the issue is a slow upstairs shower drain, resolving it may require checking a basement cleanout, the main drain stack, or shutting down water at the main valve. Ensure pathways through basements, utility rooms, and hallways are reasonably clear of boxes, furniture, or tripping hazards.

3. Avoid Using Chemical Drain Cleaners Prior to the Visit If you have a clogged drain, **please do not pour caustic drain cleaning chemicals into the pipe** right before your service appointment. These caustic acids and lyes stay trapped in standing water. When our technicians disassemble the trap or insert a snake cable, splashing chemical liquid can cause skin burns or eye injuries. If chemicals were used, please inform us immediately before we start work.
